In January of 2007, AIMM Paralegal Services was born! Then a few short months later, in April of
2007 Chicago Notary Services was created. Both start-ups were created due to the overwhelming
need of skilled and experienced freelance paralegal services primarily for attorneys, and mobile
notary publics & notary signing agents. These companies were created and founded by Ms. Carrie
Rivera, a Freelance Paralegal and Certified Notary Signing Agent. Finally, in March 2011, both
start-ups were merged and Chicago Paralegal Notary Inc (CPNI), a private, family owned corporation
was formed. Ms. Rivera currently has over twenty years experience working in the Legal, Law
Enforcement, Real Estate and Social Service fields, in the private and state government sectors.
She earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1988, and has been working as a
Paralegal, ever since.

any legal advice or guidance, nor do we accept fees for court filings.
CPNI provides Paralegal services always and only under the supervision of an attorney, and
provides basic or legal typing services for the general public. Free attorney referrals are happily
provided upon request from callers requesting such information, and are never charged a fee for
this service.
