ABOUT THE FOUNDER......

Ms. Cari Rivera started the company as a sole proprietor in January 2006 due to the increase need for
independent paralegal services, and in 2008 incorporated the company as a privately held corporation.

Ms. Rivera obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1988, and has worked in various legal
positions for a number of small to mid-sized law firms in Chicago.

In 2004, Ms. Rivera began serving the people of Illinois as a public servant for approximately ten years,
collectively working for the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services (Child Protection & Legal
Services) Office of Banks & Real Estate (Legal Department) and the Illinois State Police (Forensic
Science Department). She has received numerous departmental awards, commendations, certificates of
achievements, and also received a certificate of appreciation from the
Chicago Police Department, Detective Division.

Recognizing the need for continuing her education in the legal field, Ms. Rivera is working on achieving
the status as a certified paralegal, by studying the PACE or Paralegal Advanced Competency Course.
Once certified, she will be easily recognized as a Certified Paralegal, which will allow her to better serve
the Chicago area and surrounding communities on a more varied and broader level.

Ms. Rivera is an Associate Member of the American Bar Association and meets all of the ABA paralegal
qualifications in accordance to the associations Standards Committee of Paralegals. She is also a member
of the National Federation of Paralegal Association, Inc., a nationally recognized paralegal organization
dedicated to the Paralegal profession.
